I only have the owners manual, perhaps a call to Polk might get you a schematic. I can tell you this, I've been inside and it's not a complicated circuit.

the SDA-ACM is polks passive crossover network for creating the sda effect inside a car

i was thinking about incorporating a similar circuit for sda effect in the car, but since i do not have the sda-acm to look at for reference, i thought maybe someone here who actually owns one , might have also aquired the schematic

    thanks F1 for the info,
i would be interested in some pics of the inside also, if anyone who owns one would be willing:)

Ugh! I'd have to dig that thing out of some box who's locale I'm not sure about. Try asking Polk first.

If you're interested in creating a "SDA" effect, how about you do your own research and create your own patent for car audio "SDA"? The industry tends to use nomenclature like PATENT and COPYRIGHT.

You should probably PM these helpful folks to guide you on your way.

F1- no problem ,thanks though, it was a curiousity more than anything else

dorokusai - i was merely looking at the possibility of incorporating that type of a SDA passive crossover in a bi or tri-amped set up using seperate amps for mid and hi freq with an active crossover. as the SDA-ACM was not designed with this capability in mind.

i was not looking to sell or mass produce a car stereo sda product!
You seem offended at the idea of someone knowing how the product works!

Interesting. It's nice to learn something new every day.

So, what does ACM stand for?
