Super Bowl switch-a-roo!

I am having a few friends over for a Super Bowl party tonight and we are going to watch it on the HT. I have Directv, and while I have the HD package, my local market is not carried in HD as of yet, although it should be on later this year. The bad news is that our local ABC station has the worst feed of any of our local networks, and this is either over the air, or by way of Directv.
Both my father and myself got our HD from Directv at about the same time, and we both applied for waivers from our local stations to get the network feeds in HD from either New York or LA at about the same time. My father got permission from NBC, ABC, CBS, and Fox, while I on the other hand only got permission from NBC, and the rest turned me down. The worst part is that we only live 5 miles from each other! What the logic for this is I do not know.
Well, I called Directv to see what I could do about it, and they said nothing, but I could wait a few weeks and put in for the waiver from my locals again. Well this left me with only the option of watching a bad SD 4.3 feed for the game.
Then I had a epiphany! Dad had a Directv HD reciever on his account that was not activated at present due to a room that was being remodeled. We called, activated it, and I brought it over to my house temporarily. Now the party will have the Super Bowl in widescreen HD!
The things we do for a good picture.

I too will have HD, but luckily it's broadcasted locally that way. Can't wait to see the new dubs in this format. I'm very excited! Also...can't wait to see how bad ole Mick looks.
