Just picked it up today in time for the big game. Huge upgrade over my old 27" Magnavox tube tv. I'll miss her. :p

Hitachi 32" LCD HDTV (32HDL52)

I decided to go with picture quality and features over overall size. I'm loving it so far!!

Definitely will...This thing has a motorized swivel stand on it, so now I don't have to get up off my **** at all. :p Not bad for $2,000, but I just didn't want some big bulky TV.

That is a great TV. I bought the 32 in panasonic a while back, but that Hitachi was looking real good right next to it. The only reason I didn't go for it was I didn't have a use for the motorized swivel, as I'm wall mounting. So I thought I was paying for something I didn't need.

Only advice is to get good components/HDMI. You don't have to spend much to get performance, just know the ones the cable co. throw in are garbage...

    Congrats! Enjoy the game

Congrats. The big screen LCDs certainly are getting very affordable and popular compared to the plasmas.

Yeah, I could have gotten a 50" + Plasma for a little less money. It was strange.

    Any recommendations on that?
