Let me first start off by saying I was a JBL L112 fan when the early line of polks came out. Polk came in a close second in 1985. 20 years later, a wife, 2 kids, its now dad's turn--And I have the **** eating grin I havent had since I bought my studio monitirs back in 1985.
Well since JBL was bought out by Harman, their quality went down. So guess what?? Im the proud owner of LSi25s, LSiC and LSi FX with a Sunfire Theater Grand IV and Sunfire Cinema Grand 400x7
Fabulous
I am in the market for a sub however, the LSi 25s produce nice bass, but if you want to feel bass as well as the LSi's reproduce highs and mids--which is fandamtastic!!!! you need a sub. Im after an SVS sub curently (PB12+/2)
I am truly greatful to be to afford this equipment and all the people looking for which is better, etc.....This is one kick **** system.
Definitely calibrate your system. Even if you dont have high end stuff, it can make a $600 system rock. I was in that boat for 12 years, so I know!!!
Anyhow, i look forward to talking to y'all in this forum!!!!!

Great System....CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!! :):)
But...JBL's quality is inferior tha POLK ... right ???
(I say that but compare Monitor 60 with E-60 and the quality and clarity of POLK is far superior ....) What's wrong with JBL ???My current new system (step by step )
A/V Receiver: YAMAHA RX-V657
DVD Player: YAMAHA DVD-S657
Main Towers: polkaudio® Monitor 50

Excellent choices. You have very good taste, Enjoy.

THe new JBLs are inferior to the Polks. My ear, my opinion. BTW Im closing in in an SVS PB12+/2 to complete the project :-)

Yes...your ears feel the same sound as me !!!! Anyway, listen Infinity Primus...superior to JBL and same quality as Polk's. I wish know who's the leader speaker brand in the market...(in terms of sales) ..... !!!! ?????My current new system (step by step )
