Karma - Polk XM Tuna

Yes, my party favor from the Maryland Polkfest '05 (not signed). It's been taken out of the box, set in the rack, and never even plugged in. I've been meaning to get an XM subscription, but I haven't done it to this point, so it's probably not in the cards.

I'd rather see someone get some use out of it, than it sit here any longer.

Requirements for this Karma:

1. You MUST own a pair of Polk speakers CURRENTLY.

2. You MUST have been a forum member on or before 2/2/2005 OR you have offered up a Karma of your own already prior to this one.

3. You didn't already get one at PF '05.

4. I MUST not hate you.

Reply with a simple 'Baby Arm' to signify your desire to be entered, and the model number of a *single* Polk speaker that you own.

EG:
"Baby Arm RT800"

Closes Tuesday, 9pm CST. Our forum friend nadams (Noah) will do the drawing of the name, from entries I deem 'correct'. It goes without saying, that if this unit pops for sale *anywhere* in the next say, 90 days, you will be bannished from our kingdom, and beaten about the privates with a sack of pennies.

Cheers,
Russ

....beaten about the privates with a sack of pennies.

You have to read this one very carefully, it's a really loaded statement.

If you're looking for karma, my friend David had a stroke which scrambled his brain enough he can't type anymore and paralized him on the right side of his body. He is person who got me into hi-fi. We've been selling off his bicycles to get him stereo equipment (his wife left him and took his). He now owns all of my backup equipment including a pair of 15tl's. The next bike we sell is supposed to buy a Melos Sha-Gold preamp and if we get any left over, a Polk XM radio. His biggest complaint is that since he's not mobile, he's not exposed to new music. I bring him stuff from time to time, but we have different tastes.

I probably disqualified myself from the drawing with this sob story, but I thought you might like to know.

Any way I could get in since I let my brother have the tuner I got at Polkfest and now I'm regretting it? :D

Just as an update, I bought the SDA SRS from Carlos (HTrookie), and I bought a pair of mint 2.3tl's from a guy in Ontario. And now I'm hunting for a center channel, something like the csi5,

It's all in the basement where I am currently tweaking various settings to get the best out of the system.
