Removing stripped screw from mobo?

I got a laptop around christmas time and it seems to have developed a power problem. The power cord jack (the one on the computer) seems to be seperating from the motherboard and has to be pushed one or the other way in order to get it to actually make a connection. It's gotten to the point where I don't even use the thing anymore because it's so unreliable.
I attempted to take the thing apart a while ago. First time taking apart a laptop and now I realize why desktops are so much easier to deal with. This one (compaq m700) has a massive amount of screws, some hidden and some obvious, with another mass of ribbon cables and clip connect wire thingies. After all that I got down to the base motherboard only to find the very last two screws needed to be pulled were stuck in there. First I stripped my crappy screwdriver and then onto a different screwdriver and finally the screw gave and stripped.
I need to find a way to remove those two screws that are right smack in the heart of the mobo safely so that I can resolder that ac plug. Any ideas? I've been told that if I epoxy the screwdriver in the screw and let it set it should work but I'm a little doubtful.
The screws can be removed two ways - either with a torx bit or a flathead.
Thanks,
Michael

I think Canadian Tire or Home Hardware sells a tool which can remove any stripped screw

Right... I remember seeing one of those horrible commercials about it. I'll have to check it out and see if I don't have to buy the full $30 set or w/e.
Thanks.
