the yamaha reciever says to run the low to a terminal and the high to speaker b terminal. Should I do this or should I run both from one terminal? Also can I just run the fronts this way, or is there some other combinations?

Based on your description it seems that you are trying to Bi-Amp, not Bi-wire.
Take another look at your manual and determine whether or not the output to the speakers is cut in half when both "A" and "B" speakers are selected. If the answer is yes then don't bother. Most, if not all receivers cut the output in half when both speakers are selected and since your LSi's are power hungry it simply doesn't make sense to put them on a diet so to speak.

    bigsslim,
I know that others in this forum will disagree with me but I have never noticed any difference when I Bi-wired my speakers, but Bi-amping is another story. I agree with Frank Z that the A-B thing will probably reduce the wattage and will not benefit you.
