Onkyo Customer Support

Has anyone had any experience dealing with Onkyo Customer Support?

I sent several emails to them via the online form that they have on their website and I am yet to receive a response from them (in over 2-3 weeks).

Seems like Onkyo makes great products but doesn't seem to have a good customer service base in the US.

I have called their customer support and got right through, but I got the feeling I was talking to a call center (probably was) whatever was on the sheet in front of who I was calling was the extent of their knowledge.

They did try and be helpful though..

Three years ago they were great, you called and talked to an Onk tech who knew WTF they were talking about and could get you squared away, I called em about 6 months ago and they sucked pretty bad, seems they have new CS "philosophy" to bad.

It was 3 years ago (or so) since I called as well. Have not called since, so I was unaware of their new CS policies....
