Talk some sense into me

Okay, I have been doing pretty good lately getting good deals on audio stuff. Over the last year I've brought in a ton of new audio gear. Both my 2 channel and HT systems are pretty much completely done over since what they were a year ago.

Anyways, my question is, would the addition of a pair of RT2000p to my HT as fronts, and move my RTi70s to the rear, would that be total overkill? I will be using a Sunfire Signature True subwoofer as my .1. Do I really want those extra subs in the fronts? My room is pretty big. Anyways, I have a chance to get them at a pretty good deal, just wondering what you smarter, more experienced folk would think. Not sure if its worth getting into a fight with my wife over. I know, big sissy right.

Any thoughts?

    Me? I wouldn't.

Depends all on what you want I guess.

    Why not you Troy?

We'll see how the sub handles. Getting it tomorrow.

I am sure I would like to hover on the ridiculous side of things. Sometimes I get ridiculous.

    Quick, name that song.

I have them as mains. I luv 'em. But, like sean said, you need lower octave reinforcement. They don't do the REAL low stuff.

Towers up front and towers in the rear would be excellent. What is your center? if it isnt tri lam, they won't match up. I tried a CSi40, didn't work.

If the price is right, I say go for it. You could always off them if you don't like 'em.

Well, the seller also has a CS350 to go with the towers. I guess I could always see what setup I liked better, the CSi40 + RTi70, or CS350 + RT2000p.

Asthetically, I'm thinking what we have now is the best.

Wow. That'll be a killer setup. Bass all over the place. Towers in the rear is cool. Keep us posted.

Nope, no LSis. We'd be talking totally new amplification and everything and unless I want to pawn off my 2 channel system, which trust me I don't, I'm not willing to drop as much as I should on a new amp and pre/pro.

I hear the 350 is a great center, and I do love my RT2000i`s..
Not sure what the diff is between the rt2000i`s and the 2000p`s..

Like Ant said, if ya don`t like it , flip it and get your investment back

Yeah, you are probably right. I am going to sleep on it and will likely call him and pull the trigger tomorrow.
