    Good question.

Speakers will be the Monitor Audio S8 that I got yesterday.

Then I need to decide how to distribute components between these and the 1.2 TL's

I guess that it will be a trial/error thing, but here's how I think I'll get started:

    SDA 1.2 TL's:
    Dared Pre
    JBL Urei Amp
Cambridge Audio 500 SE (With or without the "The little bit three" DAC..have not heard it yet).

    Monitor Audio:
    Dodd MLP
    Sixpacs
    Jolida JD-100 (I've been a bad boy...)

How? You said yourself SDA's are perfection, and that you also need at least 200w per channel to drive them, what the hell would you do with HT's bag of good sound?

I think you might be better off with a 6-pack of Juicy Juice, I hear it's 100% juice now!

VERY nice looking amps!!! That should keep you happy for awhile!

200 to drive SDA's? Obviously he's talking SS watts...

Pardon my ignorance...and I hope I'm not opening a can of worms here.....but what is the big deal with these amps? Why does a 50
Watt(At .55% THD) amp cost so much money? I don't know anything about tube amps.

Tube amps are very HARD to build. You have to do them one at a time. You could turn out hundreds of SS amps in the time it takes to do one tube amp. On my system 60 watts per channel is easily comparible to 250 wpc SS watts. Prices vary depending on who builds them and how good they sound.
