    Nice job!! :cool:. I found myself looking forward to this months issue. I do have a question though. Do you ever have the "used" equipment checked before you attempt to review it? How do you know if it performing to it's abilities? This ? is mostly concerning the components not nec the speakers. There was piece in your last issue that I didn't agree with 100% and I was thinking perhaps since the unit was older maybe it was not perfoming to the best of it's abilities. Just wondering what your methods are and where the equipment comes from.

    The equipment I personally review comes either from Echo HiFi in Portland, or my personal pieces. I know from writing about my own that it is in top knotch condition. Echo has every piece checked out before it goes on display in their shop.

    The other writers have been reviewing their own equipment so far, however, that will change as time goes on.

    Great question, may I use it in next month's letters to the editor?
