    Do you mean SUB-woofer?

Ah..... yes....Sub Woofer......the big box thing, or small box thing, that looks like a box, only makes sounds, I hear this is an important thing. ;)

    Depending on your budget:

    SVS 25-31 PCi ($549) or PB10-ISD ($429)
    Outlaw Audio LFM-1 ($549) or LFM-2 ($299)
    HSU STF-1 ($599) or STF-2 ($399) or STF-3 ($299)

All considered to be very good subs with great value. All are internet only (Some of the HSUs can be found in B&Ms). They are all easy to research via their web sites and almost every audio forum will have some discussion of them.

B&M = Brick and Mortar = A physical location, shop, store vs an online only store.

Thank you for the B&M, ( that used to mean Bowel Movement)the only ones around here are Best/B &C/City. I have to go 90 miles to Seattle for anything else, although Vancouver B.C. is 0nly 45 miles, but most of thier stuff is cheaper in the U.S. Ciao, Bill ;)

I really dont think that HSU's 8" sub is twice the price of their 12" sub.

For subs, I would say, get the PB10 as it's a good sub at a good price. If you need something more, either get 2 PB10 or 1 SVS 20-39PC+.

Thanks for that Joey V, I'll be taking a look. Tweeter has Polk T20EB's that look the same upside down as Monitor 30's, except for face color, and really cheap a pair, made in China. Thinking of these as rear speakers. Ciao, Bill :)

    Bill...

Get the T20eb... those are great for the money, plus it seems like the tweeter is on top - something I prefer over the odd woofer over tweeter configuration of the M30. Ahh... an easy choice.

So, I guess your HT is coming together quite nicely huh? After the sub and the center, you're done.

Be sure to post pics of your lovely setup once you get everything all hooked up... I'll be looking forward to it.
