    That is simply amazing...

    But the doctor saying that it was probably cataracts? I mean, I'm not a doctor... but, that seems a little odd. You'd think they would've seen those some time in the past 26 years...

    More likely would be something with the blood vessels going to the eyes. When you have a heart attack, your veins are under lots of stresses that they don't normally have to endure. Perhaps this opened up a vessel that had previously closed for some reason.

    Anyway, I'm not a doctor, and it really just is an amazing story!
