another LSi9 thread
need another one of these threads like we need a hole in our collective heads eh?
Just picked these up from Carlos's heads up. Black LSi9's floor models, with box and warranty 499.00 plus tax. got them going in the 2 channel rig as we speak. I only heard LSi7's to this poiint, and just allways wanted a pair to play with.
I am amazed what these little bookshelves will do with the right equipment. such a big sound from a little package. I just love that ring tweet, sweet and laid back/mellow. just how I like it. Do I like em better than the carvers? at low to mid volume I matbe like them as much, but at the higher volumes the Carver walks away in accurace, soundstage thats so open and airy. but that doesnt take away from how impressed I am with these little jewels of LSi9's
I'm gonna have some fun with these for a while, and probably keep em for a while longer too.

That's payback for the Vanderstein's, your lucky he said right before Christmas he had a pair of 15's old versions on the floor that he sold at a great price, they would have looked great next to the carvers. Please don't tell your lovely wife I gave you the heads up for these, she might sick that monster of a dog you have on me the next time I come a callin
