I understand monoblocking, but what does it mean when you bridge amps? Also, when you use one amp to drive your tweets, and another one to push the drivers, what is this is? :p

Bridge-example, adcom and others had/have a switch that lets you "bridge the amp from a two channel(stereo) to a single channel(mono)

Two amps for one speaker=bi-amping, one for the low end,one for the mid/high end, so to speak. :)

All I can tell you is that I talked my brother into bi-amping his 2.3 tl's, and to me ,it increased their depth, soundstage, improved defination, and made them sound like I had never heard them before, they seemed to play/sound with less effort, as with the pre volume @ 10-11 o'clock position was plenty loud, pretty awsome IMHO.If you are ever in the neighborhood, give me a call and I'll let you give them a listen. I noticed that you are in Ga.,,he lives in fayetteville.
