Hi im new here and been looking at upgrading my home theatre system. Right now im running a CS1 center, 2 M20 floor speakers, and 2 m10's for surround, and PSW10 sub. Would I notice a big difference in the M20's and the R30's? Here are the options im looking at.

CS1, 2 R30's, and 2 R15's or 2 Monitor 30's. and psw10 sub

OR

CS1, 2 monitor 40's, 2 monitor 30's and psw10 sub?

Thanks for the advice and sorry for the long post.

I'm believe that the M20s and R30s are pretty much the same speakers, but with some cosmetic differences - same with R15s and M10s. Therefore, your 1st option would not really be an upgrade.

Your 2nd option moves all your speakers into the Monitor line, so that is an upgrade.

How much of an upgrade? Don't know, as I have not personally compared Rs or Ms to the Monitors. Maybe someone else has more experience there.
