Should I use R30's as rears??

I have RT55i's as my fronts and CS400i for the center. I see that Fry's has the R30's cheap right now and I am looking for some rear speakers. Would anyone recommend this as a possible set-up??

    While they are not a match and are not in the same league as you other speakers, they would still work OK for surrounds (maybe until you could find some FX500i's, RT25i's, etc,)

    My question or concern would be how you get them to the proper height for surrounds? They are pretty short towers, and I've always put my surrounds about 6-7 ft. up on the wall.

    2.0 ch Living Room: Rotel RX-1052/Emotiva DC-1/Klipsch RF-7 III/Sony ES BDP/LG 65" LED.
    2.0 ch Semi-portable: Klipsch Powergate/NHT SB3/Chromecast Audio.
    Kitchen: Sonos Play5.

    they'll work,, timbre matching for the surrounds isnt nearly as important as it us for the center and mains.

    you can allways put something to elevate them if needed. If its cost effective over other options you have, then go ahead and get em.
