Many months ago we were looking into getting some new beach cruisers, we decided to hold off. Just a couple of weeks ago we finally dropped the coin for two. The brand is Nirve and they are built right here in Fountain Valley. They are like the limo of beach cruisers.

I picked up this one...The Classic

This is the one my daughter picked out...The Lanai (Island Series)

My wife, as of yet is undecided on what she wants so she is riding my old one until she finds one she likes. Living less then 2 miles from the beach these make for the perfect ride to get there.

We have no big hills to deal with just a few small ones that are not much of an issue so we don't have much of a use for gears. Besides, the bikes are quite a bit less expensive without them. I also prefer the simple, clean look of a bike without all the cables for the gears and brakes.
