Let's close the 1st Amendment while we're at it..

Hmm...why don't you get all up in the air about not being able to discuss politics? Why can't we discuss politics? Not because it's 'politics', but because of the of the confrontations, heated debates, and everything else that comes along with that. Just because it's not called 'politics' doesn't mean not discussing wouldn't be more appropriate than discussing it and inciting the 'garbage' that ensues. Besides, being a private forum gives the 'owners' the right to close what they wish.George Grand wrote: »

And this may be a free country but this forum is private property. You can go outside and talk about anything you like. In here, youre subject to the rules. The first ammendmant says NOTHING about being able to talk about what you like in a private forum. Just like you are well within your rights to kick those annoying Jehovah's Witnesses off of your front porch if you like.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

I agree that it's a private forum and they can do whatever they want. But I really didn't see the point in closing that discussion. It was, in fact, under the Movies forum.

because the last 4 Broke Back Mountain threads also got out of hand. Do you have an idea that _maybe_ justin doesn't want you to start another one?Ludicrous gibs!

Go over to the light socket in your wall and stick your finger in it. Now do it again. And again. Now Im willing to bet its not going to take you long to figure out whats going to happen evertime you stick your finger in that socket.
Kinda the same principle here.polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005

I ALMOST knew there were other threads that got closed. From what I read there was no indication of that.
Chickens and twist ties. I have nothing more to say.
