Hey guys, I can pick up a pair of these for cheap, how good are they? how good is this brand in general? They are Wharfedale Crystal 30

Drivers: (1) 1" textile dome tweeter; (1) 6.5" Hot Compacted Woven Polypropylene (HCWPP) woofer

Frequency Response: 40Hz - 20kHz

Sensitivity: 86dB

Nominal Impedance: 6 ohms

Recommended Amplifier Power: 25 - 100 watts

Two sets of speaker binding posts. Can be bi-wired

Dimensions: 32.8" X 8.5" X 9.3"

Weight: 22 lbs. ea.

    I don't know exactly how good these are....but Wharfedale is a respected name. As to your good deal...they can be had brand new for $99 + shipping HERE

    yah, thats where I was gonna get them... O and I am probably gonna get the CR-40's for only 50 bucks more..

    I'm personally fond of the warm, British Wharfedale sound. But beware that those are going to be hard to drive. Not as hard as the LSi series, for sure, but they're only 86db efficient and are 6ohm nominal. Not exactly easy to drive, either.
