Since getting to hear these "bookshelf" speakers at PF04 I have wanted a set to enjoy.

Thanks to Shelby via Seo these have made the trip from the Nothwest to the east coast. Have been playing them most of today and am still amazed at the amount of low freq. information they can produce.

BTW this set is in teriffic condition and have received proper care. Seo was the original owner and it is obvious they were his "babies".

Here is a shot of them hooked to the Reel Time Rig, although dwarfed in size by their big brothers dont let that fool you.

looking good Ted. I really like the CRS+'s. aside from the bass output, how do your CRS+'s compare to the SRS in imaging?
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

CRSs' are a classic Polk design like the Rt55i and Monitor 10. Awesome.

Those are original CRS, with two tweeters per speaker. I believe the CRS+ had only one tweeter?

Glad you like them. Kind of strange to see "my" er, your speakers in a picture from across the country.

I'm already thinking I'll need to get another set of SDA's some day....when I have a little more room.

EDIT: This post just made me a Polkster ;)

    Russ,

These are the Original CRS with the twin tweeters. They have what I would say is the typical wide SDA soundstage and imaging. Instruments well placed front to back, depth so to speak. Of course everything is a bit scaled down compared to the big boys but I can definetely see why some members feel this model is all really need to get your SDA groove on.

I may have some fun with these and do the mods, maybe then send them up to Jesse for a pro veneer job. In any event I am very pleased with them.

Their sound belies their size for sure, and you're not getting the full effect with the Pappa SDA's absorbing the rear firing PR.
    More later,

I'll admit, part of me was wanting to keep them, to say they were going to be undeliverable. Thats the devil in me though.
