I was looking into getting a collection of schematics and wiring diagrams going for all the vintage polks, for myself and other club polk users.
This would reduce the amount of calls to Polk Customer Service for this info and we would be able to share with other members in need of these.
I am sure alot of the members here have a schematic or 2. So if you have any of the SDA Monitor series or RTA series polk schematics and/or wiring diagrams please PM me or post it in this thread.
i would like to collect and maintain the collection archive for the forum if i can get enough of a response. preferably in pdf , but if u only have paper PM me and we can arrange another means. thanks

You know I thought about doing this some time ago, and I wonder why it hasn't been done before, perhaps in a Sticky...

Yea i agree, i have searched through the forums and havent found any but 2 or so,
i think it would be a big help for those planning crossover upgrades, and it would relieve some of the customer service calls to polk.

maybe even add it to the polksda.com webpage

which models do you have schematics for?

Do a search for compendium. A long-time forum member already did the ton of research and work it takes to completely document the SDAs.

I'm actually working with Kenneth Swauger, Polk Customer Service, for some of the non-SDA models now, via PDF format. Give it some time.

This is not a problem if the folks putting this together need a place for the documents to be hosted. I have server space and bandwidth to spare...

It is quite possible. Many of the polk crossover's have very similar designs. Actually all manufacturs have similar design. There are some very basic design in HP,and LP filters etc. For many it is just a matter of the quality of the components....

I also emailed Justin to see if he would create a sticky for Schematics....

I was sent a paper copy of the 1.2TL manual which I've since scanned. 14 pg at 300dpi. About 3.3 MB Let me know if this will help you. If it's too big, I could always scan it again in lower res.
