Luckily, according to the movie, we can outrun it if we just run really fast and hide in buildings. If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Talk to them about "global warming."
Another "The Sky is Falling" issue for environmentalist nutballs to latch onto and claim that we're killing the planet. There are natural peaks and valleys in temperature cycles, and the period of time that mankind has existed, let alone been tracking tempratures, is but a second in the galactic day.
The average temperature in the age of dinosaurs was considerably higher than it is now, and there have been several "ice ages" where the average temperature has been lower. It happens. Not only is it NOT something to have a case of the screaming meemies about, but there's very little man could do about it.
One good-sized volcano eruption has a greater negative impact on the ozone layer and the environment than a decade of industrial output.
"We need to give up using fossil fuels and go back to living in huts and exist in harmony with nature."
Uh hunh... and there will STILL be huge temperature swings. I'll keep my Starbucks and HDTV thank you.

Hahah, well, there's obviously other reasons to give up (or cut back) on fossil fuels, like smog and air quality that actually ARE caused by them, and the fact that they're a diminishing resource, but otherwise, right on man.If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

You know what was nuts? Last night, it was snowing, and we had thunder and lightning. That's nuts... Was very freaky to stand on the porch and watch.Ludicrous gibs!

NA,
I saw that once in Colorado, and I did not like it at all. In fact there was so much static electricity (because it was winter) in the air that when the lightning would strike near our house sparks would shoot out of the electricle wall plates. Not cool, and it just felt a little unatural, seeing lightning and snow at the same time is odd. -
We had that up here a month or so ago. It was snowing/sleeting/raining & then all of a sudden you saw a big flash & heard a big BOOM! Never saw anything like it! :eek:nadams wrote:You know what was nuts? Last night, it was snowing, and we had thunder and lightning. That's nuts... Wonder where global warming is? Oh thats right, its on Mars now. The Martian polar ice caps are melting as the average temperature rises there. I guess global warming is like a cold and can spread from planet to planet!polkaudio sound quality competitor since 2005
