looking for a sub...

Can anyone give me advise on buying a car sub that i will be used in a sealed box. I am looking for the lowest (under 20hz), quickest, and flattest response. I will be using it at relativly low volume levels, so i don't really need something that will shake the earth, just something that will hit very low frequencies and does it very cleanly and quickly. It will be used primary to demo in my home theater system and will be powered by up 500 watts rms @ 4 ohms.
Speakers: LSi9 x 2, LSic, LSiFX x 2, Velodyne HGS-15
Amps & Power: Rockford Fosgate T8004 x 3, Cascade Audio APS-55 power supplies x 5, and 1 farad capacitor.
Electronics: Denon 3806, Toshiba HD-A1, & Sony KDL46XBR2
Accessories: Anti-IC interconnects, 8 Mondo Traps from Realtraps, and Salamander furniture.

I think you should post this on the HA section...<|> -
the reason i did it in this section is because it is car audio components, and i figured more people here would know about good car subs.Speakers: LSi9 x 2, LSic, LSiFX x 2, Velodyne HGS-15

So you're looking for a car sub to put it on your HT... as far as I know everybody here thinks that's not a great idea, but lets see what other polkies think about it...<|>

I already integrated a rockford fosgate car amp into my home theater driving my lsi9 speakers with great success. I figure it wouldnt be too much of a problem to make it work with a sub....
I looked into the MM2154, but was told that polk doesn't make very good subwoofers. Mabee that is only true for home audio subs though.
I also had my eye on the Sony XS-L152P5 and Image Dynamics IDQ15 D4 v.2Speakers: LSi9 x 2, LSic, LSiFX x 2, Velodyne HGS-15

no, that is true only for home audio - for their price, polk subs are most excellent...
sony - HELL NO!
