Taxes Question (Claiming)

I'm using turbo tax to file my taxes since I only have two W-2's it should be pretty easy. However I turned 19 this year... can anyone still claim me? I live @ home with my mother and step-father.
I don't know wtf to do with this question... last year I used turbotax and didn't have any problems after all the preliminary questions were over.
Thanks,
Adam

I think they can still claim you if you are going to college.

You should be able to use a 1040EZ. If your parents provided more than 50% of your support they can claim you as a deduction and there are instructions included with the 1040EZ that tell you what to do. You're parents and you can't both claim you as a deduction.

worth checking with your parents. 19 + college if applicable means they are most likly claiming you.Living Room 2 Channel -

Yep, you can still be claimed by your parents. You should ask them if they are or not.

This is the key - a person can be claimed only once.
You might want to talk to your folks about running the numbers both ways - with them claiming you, and you claiming you. -
Alright thanks - I talked to her and she's going to look into it tomorrow.
She isn't too good w/ all the stuff and I'm trying to learn.cats.vans.bag...
