After exhaustively reading through all of the 'back issues' concerning the M7........

Hello all, Eiderlon here to ask if anyone has ever tried adding a 10" Subwoofer to the M7? If so, what Xover mods did you make and what 10" driver did you pick? Ciao!

There is a reason you didn't find anything on it, it is a bad idea.

Don't like how the speaker sounds as is, get something else.
    Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
    Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
    ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

we don't take kindly to franken-Polks... why mod a speaker? it was designed to perform in top form as it was built.

Well, this comment has me laughing so hard that there is no way that I can see through the tears to perform the mod. And I am sure that every time I try to start I'll remember this comment and fall out all over again!!!! :D

Well, that's out. The speakers were a give-away to me, so I guess I'm given a **** and trying to silver plate it, eh?

Yes they are a ****. You should give them away to someone here on the board. I'm sure it would be appreciated.

Anyone have a pic of this m7? Are you maybe talking about a monitor 7...?

It would be much better for you to just get a seperate sub and leave them alone. The time, money and lack of improvment in a mod like this just isn't worth it; retail value gets destroyed when you do stuff like this (that is if you ever plan on selling them).

I'd sell them or re-gift them and get something you like instead of modding them.
