Hey everyone,
Quick question...how hot should a HK 635 be after about I've watched 1 DVD? I recently touched the top of it, and it was surprisingly hot, almost concerning. Not sure if this is normal or what...Got 5.1 Cambridge audio SoundCubes speakers/sub hooked up to it.
I have a bad setup right now in terms of AV furniture, so there is NOT enough ventilation for anything down there I know, but just wanted to ask around to see if the situation was 'dire'!
Thanks!

Hi welcome to the forums Ace. Yeah, change your setup to provide adequate ventilation asap. Use AT LEAST 3 inches- preferably 4. Check the ohm rating on your Cambridge speakers. If they're under 8ohm, then that's another problem.

HK's normally run kind of hot. Like aa said, make sure it has plenty of room to breathe.
