I bought Dyanco PAT4 preamp and an ST120 amp from E-bay. I paid $150 for the pair. He lived close enough to do a cash trade. I'll use this ST120 to help me troubleshoot a bad one. Each of these are real nice sounding vintage pieces.
I'm using a Sony PS for CD and Monitor Bronze2 for speakers. I'll probably change the CD pretty soon, but for now the PS works good enough. First I'll get better cables. I may test some other speakers, the Monitors sound damn good on this system. Fast and tight. They go pretty low and seem to have a slight roll-off at the top. The mids are strong and punchy without being exaggerated.
I currently listen to 2 pair of mains for stereo on my main system. If I can get the other ST120 going I'll connect it to this system so I can use 2 mains for 5.1 also.
Life is good.:D
