Polk RC6S speaker question

Hi,
would the RC6S stereo input speaker be sutiable for a room / nook in a cafe with dimensions 14' x 11' with 10' ceiling? To be powered by a 100 watt receiver along with 3 other pairs of speakers.
My local Audio dealer here suggested a pair of Sappire IC40 6.5" for this room but my patrons will be seated with their backs to the shorter wall and he had these speakers in I formation..along the 14' lenth. I am not sure but wouldn't it be better to have them perpendicular so that the listener hears a distinct left and right?
I wondered if the RC6S, centered in the room would be a better choice?
Once again this is for background music in a cafe with around 8 people seated in that zone.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the layout...a blank canvas right now.
Any speaker ideas for the main/bar area?
Customers will be walking in and out, browsing retail and ordering drinks (hopefully) so i'm not sure where or what to place in that area.
Suggested equipment:
Yamaha RX797 100w
Pro Solutions SBX4VC Speaker selector/Vol. control
2 Polk Atrium 60w (for outside deck)
4 Polk or Sapphire 6.5" speaker pairs (inside)
Monster 16-4 Plenum cable
Monster HTS 2600
