WTF? Tube speakers?
Never see this before, how do you keep the cone's movement from affecting the tubes?

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I don't believe it would be any different than a tube guitar amp or Leslie speaker cabinet. Perhaps it would be a better configuaration. In both the cited examples, the amp chassis and tubes actually sit directly inside the speaker enclosure. The 6U8 (in triode mode) may have been chosen due to it not being prone to microphonics in the way some small signal tubes can be.

Tubes, silk dome tweeter, ported enclosure.... I'd bet it sounds a lot better than most desktop computer speakers. $29 restocking fee + shipping if you hate them. Let us know if you give it a try.
