Set HP/LPF at Hu or amps?

Greetings- Recently completed a self install consisting of Avic-D1 hu, MMC 6500 up front and MMC 570 in rear driven by a Polk 400.4 and and a 500.1 driving a JL 10W6 in my F150 crew.
The HU has some pretty decent EQ setting/HP LP filtering capability and I'm wondering if I should be doing it all there and turning the crossovers off on the amps or using just the amps or using a combination of two. I'm thinking I'd just want to use the HU for ease of tweaking and flipping the crossover swith to off on both the amps. Am I missing something or should this work well?

Thanks!

Dan

Use whichever you like best but I wouldnt use a combination of the two. It is easier to use the head unit that way you dont have to get out and go in the trunk everytime you want to change things.
