Luxman D-100 CD player?

Any opinions/experience? I could pick one up locally for $30.

    You better bag it before I do. It's old (mid to late 80's), so who knows how many hours might be on the laser assembly/transport - but it was a $500 unit back then. Pretty solid IIRC.

    I bought one of these for my Dad back in the late '80's when they were closing them out for $110. The $500 retail was exagerated, they were commonly available for $250 even before they were closing them out.

    My brother has the thing now and it still works after thousands of hours of use.
