i recently upgraded my cables and i had a pro. around to do it, i asked the question why are my cables for the rear channels not any where near as chunky and convincing as the cables for the fronts, the reply was its just an effects channel, i know alot of sound comes from them when listening to music, so what i want to know is am i just going wasting my cash getting some more convincing cable for my rears. i have rti 12s for the fronts and rti 6s for the rears, a cs2 for surrond back and a csi 5 for a centre. the 12s, 6s and csi5 are all bi wired, this is all connected to a denon 3805.
dont get me wrong it does sound great, but i would like to know is it worth getting more expensive cable for the rear channels, or cable for the rears to match the fronts.
please let me know your views on this
cheers
