Surroundbar/receiver Questions

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a Surroundbar that came with a "free" 10-inch Polk sub. I have been pleased with it so far, watching the Incredibles yestedray was a wonderful experience.

I just had a few questions:

What should I set my speakers to? (large/medium/etc)
My old receiver does not have DTS decoding, and I was wondering if it was worth it to just buy a new receiver to get the most out of the Surroundbar?
Any other suggestions?

Thanks very much,

Sven

How can it be easier to logon here and post a question, than it is to read the manual?

Set the all speakers to LARGE, set subwoofer to NO, hook it up like it shows, enjoy :D

    OR

Set the all speakers to LARGE, set subwoofer to YES, hook it up like it shows, enjoy :D

DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
    Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
    Outlaw ICBM - crossover
    Beringher BFD - sub eq

Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

But why would I set my sub to off if there is a sub?

Edit: Your edit makes more sense now :)

sorry to vent, but look at the manual, it shows both ways of hooking it up.
