This is taboo I know but hear me out. I have fully enjoyed my XM tuna for many months now. I gave it a full workout with many different setups and have enjoyed the hell out of it and have shared all of my experiences with the forum and all my other audio friends. Especially, I have enjoyed knowing Matt Polk himself wanted me to enjoy it and all it represents. I really have, too. Now, even Matt himself (especially Matt) would like for this joy to extend as far as it can. Certainly, he doesn't want it sitting around with no subscription due to sentimental attachement.

It is in perfect condition and has no known flaws. The front of the unit has been signed by Matt..

You must have been a Polk forum member since 1-1-05 and you MUST have at least 100 posts (unless I give a personal OK).

$125 Shipped and a promise it will NEVER be sold other than to another polk forum member for approximately the same price.

Obviously, the profit goes back to polk on a continual basis, (as it has for the past 20 years anyway, ha ha) but for now probably some new tweets or maybe a surround bar or something. Who knows.

If no one is interested, well, I have no problem keeping it as a memento to my awesome day at polk!

Hey... it's more unique than that... not everyone got theirs signed, myself being in that category. I have no way to discern it from any of the other 1000's out there, except that Polk wrote my serial # down before I left :)

yeah, well, I wanted my Polk sign signed more than I wanted the tuner signed. AND, I didn't want to be greedy and go up 80 times to get everything I had with me singed... "Matt, just one more! You didn't sign my underwear yet!"

Ha ha. Matt signed my PR first. I had the same feeling as you but I grabbed the tuner and got back in line anyway. I tried but I just couldn't resist. When my turn came again I thought he was probably thinking "didn't I already sign yours". Man what a great day that was! You could just feel the love.

Pardon the ignorance, but how does the profit go back to polk? Does polk get a cut of the subscription fees of XM?

I think he meant that the 100% profit he's making from the tuner will eventually make its way back to Polk in the form of him continually buying new speakers and drivers from them.

^^^ Yeah. That's what I was trying to type, but he beat me to it.

No. I think what he means is that the extra money is ultimately going to be used to purchase other items from Polk. New tweeters, etc., so they'll get it back anyway.

Got it...I thought polk somehow got kickbacks on subscription sales through the polk tuner.....which would be good for polk!

And now it is my turn to pass this same tuner, in the same condition I received it, onto the next Polkie.

    Asking $125 shipped.
