I've been looking at audio furniture lately. I came across this audio rack which looks really sexy. Looks to me like an easy do it yourself type project if you wanted a particular size and shape. This one is $900 from the manufacturer. Really cool looking!

This is the monitor stand I finally ended up ordering after looking at all the others I could find. I should get it in the next few days but until then all I have is a pic. I have not seen one in person yet.

I liked this one with the lights behind the glass shelves.

I got the boltz TV stand, I really like their stuff. I also have their 330 CD rack (which is full)

I think metal and glass is very tacky, and then with green lights behind it is gross! I would really prefer a hardwood stand and maybe a little bit of metal. And then if it really comes down to it, you could put glass on the front, as a door.

    Just my opinion though. :)

Nothing wrong with an opinion. ;)
Once I get a few pics if I can figure out how to I'll post a few. The metal/glass thing is new to me but I think it will be cool. I've collected audio components for 20+ years now and I just got my first "real" audio stand and "in person" it gives a light years ahead sorta look to what I've had sitting on the floor for years. It was a choice for me, normal furniture or audio furniture. Sure is nice to be single at times. I was pretty amazed with the beginning of this experience. I figured, ok, so it will look a little better. I was wrong, it was awesome. We'll see though.

I like the top one a lot. The frame of it is made out of steel but I think it could be made of wood. Some day I might try to build one.
