I've watched all 4 previous seasons and was glued to the TV last night. I hate to say it, but after 4 seasons of this, its starting to get a little predictable. That said, I still enjoy the hell out of it.

I watched the first season all the way and refused to get into it again.
I liked the first one and would probably have liked all of them but I just can't stand to get reeled in to watching t.v. every night.

I did watch part of last night and noticed Jack still has to yell most of his lines.

maybe I'll get the whole series on DVD.

A lot of my friends love the show, but I never sat down and watched them until last night. After the ball games yesterday I watched the 2 hours of this new season and I loved it. I wondered why I hadn't watched it before...mostly because I convinced myself there isn't anything worth watching on Network TV.

So..I'm hooked now, and I will probably go back and watch the old ones eventually. The fact they whacked 2 main characters in the first 5 minutes of the show was pretty cool, not many shows do stuff like that on the network side. They definitely have a winner here, even though a lot of it is rather unbelieveable.

24 is badass. Over the past 4 months or so I"ve been getting caught up on all the old seasons, and just finished in time to see the new ones last night, which were great. OBviously teh show is goofy and predictable sometimes, but it's really enjoyable, and they're not afraid to kill off characters and turn people into traitors, which I like.

Jack Bauer is my hero :)

I got hooked with the beginning of season 4.... sister got me into it.. she's like come and watch the season premiere.. and I was hooked.. then went out and got seasons 1-3 and crammed them all in like a month... now thats a lot of work.

And of course my stupid DVR didn't work last night.. got home at 11pm... sat down, got the drinks ready, turned on the stereo, to find out that it didn't record it...     Talk about being just as pissed off as Jack Bauer when his wife died, daughter got kidnapped, killing Chapelle, President in danger, Nina was the mole etc etc etc... now I gotta have my friend burn last night episode and resist watching tonights cause I don't want to screw up the time line.... arrrgghhhhh.. the wait!!

24 is a predictable show but it's still entertaining.

    It's hollywood...overblown, unrealistic, and I don't mind at all.

I'll watch other channels if i'm in the mood for a historic war or a forensic file.

Sure it's predictable, and has way to many things going in 1 day to be even close to realistic, but it's entertaining as hell. Haven't missed a season yet.

But I did miss the first episode. The power went out during the 4th qtr of the steelers game and didn't come back until 9am. I searched adn searched for a re-airing of it, but to no avail. (just sat alone drinking way to many beers, playing guitar and keeping the wood buring stove going).

If you've got broadband, I'm sure you coudl download it. Plus, that show has the most comprehensive (almost to the point of annoying) recaps at the beginning of every episode, I'm sure you got caught up as much as you could.

As a final option, here's some episode recaps.

bob, I was searching to find out if there was going to be a replay and found the minute by minute recap on the fox website (I couldn't believe how detailed it was). I have a feeling that is actually how the show is written. I also just talked to a friend that is bringing me in a tape.

I was just pissed that I lost power during a show I've been waiting to see for months. Especially when they were advertising "the first 10 minutes will shock you!".

The best show on television since Kung Fu and Chico and the Man!!!!

Seriously, the show is awesome. I just started watching it on Sunday. How the hell did I miss 4 seasons of it? Very creative, in spite of it being unrealistic, but you gotta give 'em credit for the whole 1 hour thing. Extremely well written, too.

Kim got on your nerves in seasons 1 and 2? Maybe in Season 3, when she got that awful haircut and acted professional, but in the first two seasons, she was just delicious eye candy. :D

My least favorite characters have been Sherry Palmer in the first three seasons, and I agree on the new president this season.
