Rub with extra virgin olive oil, lightly. Sea salt, fresh cracked pepper. Wrap in foil, 330-350 for 30 minutes +/- depending on the thickness of the steaks. It's done when it flakes, unless you like it on the rare side.

If you want to, you can always add a couple thin slices of citrus ontop of each steak, before you close the foil. Lemon, Lime, Orange, etc.

i like my tuna grilled or broiled.

so i use a tablespoon of FRESH ground ginger root, 1 tablespoon honey, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and about 1 tablespoon wasabi paste, and the juice of one to two limes.. mix and spread over the tuna, and it carmalizes the sugars and forms a nice crust as it cooks.. and the wasbi give it a nice bang. You can sprinkle a little kosher salt on the tuna before adding this mixture.
    .
    eat and enjoy!

Tuna steaks are great pan fried as well. Cast iron, EVOO, and Tony Carachachili-what-his-names Cajun Seasoning will set you free.

Yeah, I mix ground pepper & Tony-whatever's Cajun, plus dried oregano. Lightly cover tuna in extra virgin olive oil, and coat in mix. Put a little more oil in a cast iron skillet (or whatever pan you have) and get it good and hot, then toss on the steaks. Shouldn't take more than 2 minutes per side, if you like them rare.
