S8 Question
From looking at these, they look like an RT7 with a passive radiator. Am I wrong? Anyone know how they sound compared to another Polk?

I have the S10's. I would guess to say your looking twords the bottom of the Polk chain. Rt series is close...but no cigar."she had the body of Venus, with arms."

Same driver and same tweeter and the S8, isn't it.
I can buy a pair of s10's for $130 plus shipping. From what you say, I should buy those instead of the RT7s for $100. -
No, what I am saying is save your money. The S10's are not bad speakers...but with a little more time and a couple dollars more you could make a huge difference in a half decent speaker purchase.
As far as the 7's...I believe they have a little better high end than the S10's. The 10's can be a little bright at times. Where the 10's will out class the 7's is in the lower end, but if you have a sub...it's a moot point."she had the body of Venus, with arms." -

Thanks. I bought a pair of RT7s for $90 and a sub. Don't think I will ever part with this combo. I don't think I could spend an additional $500 and have a better sound, plus since the 7's and sub are black, they are like stealth speakers.
