PSW-12 vs. Velodyne VX-10

I have narrowed my sub hunt to these two sub's and I want the polk really bad because I am a brand ****. I have fallen in love with polks a long time ago and am reluctant to buy any other sub because I appreciate polk quality but some people around here say that polk does not make a very good sub. These two subs have the same specs: 100watt amp and 150watt dynamic power but the polk has a bigger driver and goes lower. If any one has good advice please help me to decide what to do.

Between thos two, go with the Polk PSW12 for sure, it goes deeper, and that's what an HT sub needs to do.

I am brand **** too, I love Polk. But I say that for the 350 you'd spend for the PSW12 you should get a Velodyne VRP 1200. Still 12", a few Hz lower and a few more watts. Plays clean and nice for a budget sub IMO. And for just another hundred bucks (not much IMO) you could get tthe SVS PB-10isd. Just some options to think about. But overall the PSW12 isnt too bad, it can hold its own in that price range.

Not even close. Imo the VX-10 makes Velodyne look bad. go with the psw.
and Stopher's right on about the Velo1200 and PB10.
