WTB. RT35i or tweeter for RT3000

My 3000 tweeter blew and I robbed one from my RT55.
Now I want to replace it.
If I can get just a tweeter SL6502 that would be fine but if I can get a pair of RT35i's I will replace the top speakers in my RT2000p's with the I components and use the 2000 speakers as replacements.

Anyhow please let me know if you will part with your spare tweet or the 35i's.

So my internet at home was down all weekend, in fcat it is still down.
I missed the RT35i's and the tweeter that bvette94 was trying to get.

I guess there is allways next time but damn I hate waiting.

That tweeter closed at $57.66 too much for my blood.(of course if i needed it i would have paid it)they come around quite often on ebay i will keep an eye out for you. Good luck.

polk offers a replacement for that tweeter although it isnt the same part number.it is a silk tweeter.customer service told me that it should sound the same.buy two and replace the ones in your rt2000s as you spoke of before. just a thought.

I am going to turn the 2000's into 2000i's by gettin rt35i's.
I hope this is a good plan since this will give me a nice bedroom rig with the RT2000i's, cs400i, and the fx500i's.
this will free up the drivers and tweeters from the 2000's for spaers.

Am I missing something?
does this sound like a good plan?

the amps are diferent in the 2000is. so are the drivers. i prefer the rt2000ps my self. would make for a nice bedroom system though

The funny thing is as I upgrade my HT, my bedroom system gets nicer. Pretty soon it will be home to my first HT rig.

I hate selling my old gear.

I have been meaning to clean the HT room up and put it in the system showcase.
It is a pretty nice rig, could use a new t.v.
The room is not much to look at but the sound is great.
I'll see what I can do.
