Picked up a couple pairs of these for the Stang project.

-Triple shielded
-Directional, double twisted-pair design
-OFC
-Split tip RCA ends

Anybody use Stinger stuff?

I don't currently, but I've been looking at them. I've heard good things about Stinger, and I asked about the brand in another thread (Stinger versus StreetWires?) because a lot (most) of the install shops in my area are now using Stinger. Believe it or not, it's getting kinda tough to find StreetWires in my area (greater Cincinnati). H.H. Gregg is the only one I know of for sure that carries StreetWires, while most of the other local install shops (Audio Works, Xtreme Sound, etc.) are using Stinger (Best Buy is using Rockford Fosgate, Circuit City recommends Tsunami, etc.).....

i upgraded from planet audio midline-level stuff to stinger expert rcas, and for me they made a world of difference - my noise floor dropped from 'very annoying' to 'dead silent', maybe a 20-25 dB change in noise... naturally, this is a function of my vehicle and my ears, there are people whe experience no change going from bottom- to top-end stuff... those helixes should be quite good enough, though, without breaking the bank...

25 db? Dude, if you were getting 25 db of noise out of your previous cables then something else was wrong.

Stinger is excellent wire. Im kinda partial to Streetwires myself but Stinger is top shelf.

i think of it more as the experts blocked 25 dB more of radiated noise that the planets weren't blocking, but it could have been something else, surely... like i said, it's very install- and ear- dependent...
