hey, I work at circuit city and get nice accomodations from polk. Even though i get a lot off, im still on a tight budget (all because cc pays crap nowadays with no commision) so i am getting the monitor 50s and have r15 as rears and a velodyne vrp12. On the accomodations, there were two centers, both for under 100 dollars. They are the csi3 and cs1. Now since the csi3 are made for the rti series, will it work fine with the monitor 50s (I really wanted the rti8s but were an extra 160. which is a lot for me.) ?
AVR: H/K AVR240
Fronts: Monitor 50s
Center: CSI3
surrounds: R15s
Sub:Velodyne DPS10
Dvd/Cd: Samsung HD upconverter (for now)
TV: 50" Sammy Plasma
game hardware: 360 and gcn.

The CSi3 is a little better than the CS1, but the CS1 is the better match for your speakers. If i was you i would probably just go wtih the CSi3 since it is the better speaker. (CS1 is no slouch though)

I would say just go CS1, I always like a timbre-matched front soundstage.

Besides getting the CSi would make me just flare up my upgraditis.
