K, give me your opinion on speakers, and placement! (TC65i inwall)
Hey all, I have been debating inwalls versus on walls for a while now. I am leaning a bit to inwalls now, and thought I would post some pictures of the room and what my thoughts are.
I am thinking about either using six TC65i's, or three TC65i's for the front and three TC615's for the rear.
I had thought about three TC265i's on the front, but I think the center will be too wide, and they are just out of my price range.
The room is about 18x16 with 18 ft cielings. The rears will be mounted about 9 feet high on the back wall. Seating will be about 12-15 feet from front speakers.
I am wall mounting a 50" pioneer plasma over the fireplace. Ideally, I would like to frame my plasma with one on either side, then the center horizontally below the plasma. Is that okay? Should they be on the same horizontal plane, all mounted vertically?
BTW, I would not be boxing these in.
