I am biased and your room size is almost identical to mine. Checkout DD-15 or DD-18.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

What is the normal price range of the DD-15?TV = WS65611

With the powered subs in the LSi25's, why do you need a separate sub?Political Correctness'.........defined

Good point old man. I'd Ronco that ****.
If you do go Velo, Digital Drive, or go home. You can't mess with that DD stuff.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
I like the DD series but they are pricey. But if you have all LSi's then you got at least a decent wad of cash for home audio anyways. So DD, but I also found the DLS-5000r to be an EXCELLENT value if you wanna save a grand or two. only goes to 23Hz though, in room response might hit 20 depending on the room.-Stopher

Hi Jesse,
I think if Kyle planned on listening just to music then the 30 Hz -3 dB limit on the LSi25's would be fine.
However, he stated that he was interested in movies, and nowadays action movies have really challenging bass.
My home theater (15'x24'x10') is just a little bigger than Kyle's room, and I'm using a Velodyne DD-15 for LFE. It has a -3 dB limit of 15 Hz, the DD-18 can go down to 14 Hz.RuSsMaN wrote:If you do go Velo, Digital Drive, or go home. You can't mess with that DD stuff.
Russ, I'm not sure I follow your comment. Is that a thumbs up or thumbs down?

Why limit yourself to Velodyne? Lots of other equal or better options out there. Most are cheaper, too.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

SVS (almost a cult following, great subs for the cash spent - typicallly HUGE though with med. to low WAF (but killer lows))
HSU - would work fine in your size room. Very nice subs. (get a couple if in doubt)
If size and looks are important there are more than a few small subs that sound good to choose from. Like with anything else, you pay for the size though - higher dollar / performance ratio, but they do look cool. - look at Sunfire, and some of the paradigms.
I have heard decent things about the new polk LSi Sub, but just from specs I would put it more for music than movies.
MichaelMains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)
