Diamond Pet Food - recall

Just wanted to make everyone aware of an issue that has arisen with pet food from a company called Diamond.
They apparently got some bad fungus in some of their dog food and so far over 100 dogs have died from Liver failure. The problem seems to be centered around food distributed to the following states:
Alabama
Connecticut
Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
Michigan
Mississippi
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
Ohio
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
South Carolina
Tennessee
Vermont
Virginia
West Virginia
While I am not in an affected state, I do use diamond pet food and will be switching at least until this whole thing blows over and we see how diamond handles themselves.
I understand mistakes happen, but so far they seem to not be doing to much to make people aware of the problem. (just made the news tonight)

I saw an article on it in our local paper a few days ago. We've got a Heinz dog food plant here in town... not that it makes any difference to the story. Let me tell you, those places STINK.Ludicrous gibs!
