I have PSB Stratus Silveri's,Stratus C6i center,Image 10S sides, old JBL rears.. Question is, would it be a huge upgrade to LSI25's,LSIC center,LSIFX sides,LSI7 rear surrounds ? I mostly do HT but do listen to music as well. I've got a Sony SCD-C555ES changer. I also power everything with a B&K200.7 amp through a Pioneer Elite 56txi receiver. Any input would be appreciated

ps. i can get a really good deal on the speakers. Authorized.

As far as whether they'd be better, I dont know, never listened to PSB...

but if you do get the LSi's get the matching LSi surrounds, not the FXi's...

timbre match, timbre match, timbre match :)

If you already have PSB gear then stick with is. However, if you do decide to upgrade, definetely Lsi 15's. I liked them alot better then the PSB line. The PSB's seemed more comparable to the Rti line.

Yeah, that was a mistake typing FXI5's. Edited. I run 7.1 - Do the LSI7's timber match the drivers for rear surrounds or should i do 9's ? This is 90% an HT setup.

Also, if i did go LSI25's, how do the powered woofers incorporate for the best sound possible? My receiver has MCACC auto cal but the powered woofers are something i've never delt with before. My sub is an SVS PB2 plus...lots slam there.. Can you cross at 80Hz and still make use of the built in subs and how... A little confusing..

    Thanks gang

The 7's work great with LSi15 fronts. The entire LSi line timbre matches well with each other. I agree - get the 15's over the 25's. The 15's sound great and it is really hard to get the 25's to not have to much or to little bass.

Ok. So far it seems people favor the 15's over the 25's. Has anyone successfully incorporated the 25's into their HT? I'd like to hear from these people as well before i go further. I have the juice to drive just about Anything with the Ref200.7 amp.

LSi15 over the LSi25... with a strong separate amp, you can have better control of the LSi15's woofer than you would with the LSi25 IMO. The 15 tends to sound cleaner, especially in the bass regions of the sonic presentation.

That extra cash you save, you should use it on a bonafide sub - like an SVS or something similar.

I've owned SVS subs since their inception. PB2+ currently (since Sept '03). Thanks for your input Joey. See post #4.

Well.... I guess that makes it an easy choice - LSi15 by far.

    No contest.
