Well just got back from watching the newest DNC campaign film.

So you got this big time corporate excecutive who loses his job when the evil rich guy tanks the company right after you get to see Bush giving a speech on how good the economy is and then see how Ralph Nader is a hero.

Then this guy with 15 years experience and a former VP in a major corporation cant get a job anywhere. He tries for 3 months and no luck, although he keeps his housekeeper. So he finally breaks down and gets a job at the local WalMart knock off, which hates unions by the way, and can only get a position as a door greeter. So he gets fired because as a manager in a multi million dollar corporation, he's too incompetent to greet customers and is back to square one. Now they still keep the housekeeper but have to pay her by giving her their appliances.

So he tries to become a day laborer with other illegal immigrants but gets hauled off by INS who are a bunch of **** and they deport him. His wife breaks him out and so they have to turn to a life of crime.

So as they are walking by no less than a half dozen Gore/Liberman signs, they began to rob places because, although educated and experienced in the corporate world, he cannot get a job anywhere, was screwed by the system, has to eat in soup kitchens and they have to come up with some money to pay their housekeeper because they had all their savings and retirement in stock in the company that went bankrupt.

So if you think the economy sucks, rich people are evil, we're all just a paycheck away from being homeless, Gore shouldve won in 2000 and Bush is the devil then this movie is for you.

LOL. This looked like a funny movie! I probably NEVER would have noticed ANY of those things watching it myself, but now when I eventually rent it I know I will! Damn you!

I thought it was okay. If you analyze it in depth it takes away from things, but what do you expect for a Jim Carrey movie? It's supposed to be a cheap laugh comedy and that's exactly what it is.

You didn't like the part at the end where his former co-worker got a great paying job at an upstart company called Enron?

Lighten up man, it was just a fun movie. Don't look too deep into it. It's like discrediting Indiana Jones because the bookcase in the library in the last crusade was an obvious prop.
