Well, my Crutchfield delivery just arrived. I am now a proud owner of a pair of RTi4's and a CSi3.

I can't wait to hook them up and see the difference from my Sony satellites that I have been using for the past 5+ years. They had dual 1.5" full range drivers. I think I may see a slight difference. :D

Enjoy the clean Polk sound! Make sure to set your bass and treble controls to flat.

I learned that about 2 seconds after hooking mine up and turning them up. My previous speakers needed the trebble controls maxed out to balance them. My ears nearly started bleeding when i had the polks setup the same way. I put my tone controls to neutral (actually i turned off tone controls on the receiver as well) and now it sounds nice and flat :)

    Thanks, all.

I plan on playing with them after everyone goes to bed. I'm sure my wife will like that. ;-)

I cannot believe I did not upgrade my speakers sooner.

I was missing so much with my old speakers. I hear more highs; much, much more mid-range. I get a complete listening experience. I'm sitting here watching Kill Bill Vol. 1 and the Crazy 88's scene with all of the swords clanking, and the music. Fantastic!

I took your advise and set everything flat. Outstanding!

I have a whole new system. I am in heaven.
