This girl is in her house and the doorbell rings. Some guy is there in just overalls and work boots and he says "Hi, I'm here to clean your pool." Then it just get's crazy, but I forgot the name of the movie...

The Matrix (the Original). I'll never forget how blown away I was during the opening scene with Trinity, especially not knowing who was who, or what the story was about.

The first time I saw the first Matrix it just put me in awe. Some others I like are, as mentioned already, master and commander (the cannon battle - some serious lfe and surround action) as well as the opening scene to Ice Age. Very funny / audio intensive first scene with scrat trying to get his acorn and running from the ice.

Lawrence of Arabia- Omar Shariff in black riding in on a camel
The Right Stuff- Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier
Airplane!- You knew it was going to be a riot
    Star Wars 4- The Battleship
On Her Majesty's Secret Service- At the end of the scene Lazenby (the new Bond) looks at the camera after the girl gets away and pronounces, "This never happened to the other guy"
